KOA Jacksonville North
This is the very first campground that we stayed. It is a typical KOA. The facility was well cared for and the staff was friendly and helpful, especially when they found out this was our first camping experience. The sites are packed sand, level and shaded with some space between them. Satellite reception may be an issue because of the canopy cover. The pool and other amenities appeared to be average for a KOA. Wifi and cable were typical with neither being an exceptional offering.
The park is located right off of I 95 and at the Georgia/Florida state line giving you easy access to both the Georgia and Florida coast along with the city of Jacksonville. Overall I would rate the park as above average and would stay there again.
We paid around $40 with our KOA member card which seems to be the going rate for most of the KOA's. We stayed in a 27 foot travel trailer.
