Duck Creek RV Park was one of the first places we stayed on our first trip to Illinois in our travel trailer. It is located off of interstate 24 near Paducah, KY. The hosts are friendly and actually give you a little rubber ducky when you arrive. I still have that duck and it rides with us in our motor home now. Unfortunately, they really should have given us rubber boots so that we could float the duck without getting our feet wet when it rained. We had a significant rainfall and our site was partially under water where the utility connections were located. Needless to say my feet were soaked by the time I unhooked everything for our departure.
There are quite a few long term residents and the park is next to a 4 lane highway which was quite noisy at night. It did, however, seem to be well maintained. It seems that much of their business comes from quilters as Paducah seems to be quilting capitol of the US. The sites were level, but somewhat close although acceptable. The water, electric and sewer worked fine.
I would give this park and average to a notch below average rating because of the noise. It was unacceptable in the trailer, but might be tolerable in the motor home as it has more insulation. We would stay here again, but only if nothing else in the area was available. Actually, we now boondock at the Harrah's Casino in Metropolis, IL which is only a few miles away.
